Welcome to the 2017 football season. It is with great pride and excitement that I take on the role of President, replacing Stephen Cross, who did a fantastic job of building the club and community spirit. I am under no illusion that I have massive shoes to fill. The current committee members have been nothing but warm and welcoming towards me and I thank them immensely for their help.
I would also like to thank our Coaches, Managers, Volunteers and Sponsors for supporting the club in 2017. Volunteers are the backbone of grass roots football and we would be lost without them.
2017 is going to be a massive year for the club with a number of new players coming in and a surge in interest for our girls teams, thanks in no small part to the unprecedented success of the AFL Women’s competition.
With all of that being said, I would like to wish all of our teams the very best for a fun and successful season.
