SJFC won the Junior Club of the Year, Tigers District at the 2018 Northern Conference Awards of Excellence held on 21 September.
The Club of the Year is based on multiple criteria including club participation (District events and meetings), team behavior (yellow and red cards, E-points), and parental support. So this is a true Club award that recognises the great sportsmanship and team spirit of our players as well as the community and family culture created by our parents and officials.
In previous years there were separate awards for Junior and Youth Clubs of the Year. SJFC won the Junior award in 2013 & 2014, and the Youth award in 2015.
